Requirements for oral presentations

General Format

  • Presentation Type: Single-slide virtual presentation
  • File Type: PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF (.pdf)
  • Slide Dimensions: Widescreen 16:9 ratio (1920 × 1080 px)
  • File Size Limit: ≤ 20 MB
  • Font Type: Sans-serif (Arial, Calibri, or Helvetica)
  • Font Size: Minimum 24 pt for body text; 36–44 pt for titles

Slide Structure

  • Title, Authors, and Affiliation(s)
  • Abstract / Introduction (3–4 sentences)
  • Aim / Objectives
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results (graphs, tables, bullet points)
  • Discussion / Conclusion
  • References (3–5 max)

Design & Layout

  • Column Layout: 2 or 3 columns with clear section headers
  • Color Palette: Use 2–3 complementary colors with high contrast
  • Images: High-resolution (≥ 150 dpi)
  • Avoid clutter: Leave sufficient white space
  • Total text: ≤ 300 words

  • Presentation Duration: 3–5 minutes
